Greeting

The Japan Patient-Derived Cancer Models Society was established to bring together researchers engaged in the development and application of cancer models derived from clinical specimens, with the mission of advancing cancer research and fostering new therapeutic strategies.
The 2025 Annual Meeting, under the theme “Patient-Derived Cancer Models in the 21st Century,” will highlight progress in cancer model research utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as next-generation sequencing (NGS), organoid and tissue culture, and patient-derived xenografts (PDX).
Presentations will cover a wide range of topics including rare cancer research, personalized medicine, tumor heterogeneity, and drug discovery support.
This meeting is expected to provide valuable insights and open new avenues for future cancer research and clinical translation.
