Overview

Through plenary lectures, symposia, workshops, and poster sessions featuring researchers from Japan and overseas, the meeting will provide opportunities to discuss advances in the fundamental understanding of the immune system and their translation into new diagnostic and therapeutic approaches.
Featured Program
The plenary lectures scheduled for November 17 will feature Shimon Sakaguchi of the Immunology Frontier Research Center at The University of Osaka, a laureate of the 2025 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, and Shizuo Akira of the same institute, a laureate of the 2026 Japan Prize. The program also includes symposia on innate lymphoid cells, unconventional T cells, humoral immunity, neuroimmune interactions, autoimmune diseases, cancer immunotherapy, host defense, tissue-resident macrophages, T-cell memory, mucosal immunity, and barrier immunity.
International and Early-Career Initiatives
The meeting will include joint symposia with clinical societies and immunology organizations from France, Germany, Australia, and Korea. Programs supporting early-career researchers will include award sessions, poster presentations, the Young Immunologists Promotion Program, the Young Female Researcher Support Program, the KIBO Project, the Best Presentation Award, and the EMBO Poster Prize.
