General Research Presentations and Abstract Submission

- Eligibility: At least one presenter or co-author must be a member of the Society for Antibacterial and Antifungal Agents, Japan.
- Presentation Limit: Each presenting author may submit one general presentation.
- Presentation Formats: Oral or poster presentation

- Application Method: Applicants submitted an application form and abstract files in both Word and PDF formats by e-mail.

- Poster panels measure 120 cm wide by 210 cm high.
- The recommended poster size is no more than 85 cm wide by 150 cm high.
- Each poster session lasts three hours and includes a one-hour core discussion period.

Meeting Overview
The Annual Meeting of the Society for Antibacterial and Antifungal Agents, Japan is a scientific forum for sharing research and technologies designed to prevent microbial contamination, deterioration, infection, and hygiene-related problems. The 53rd Annual Meeting will return to Curian for the first time since 2017. The organizers have planned lectures and symposia with a balance of industry, government, and academic perspectives, emphasizing interdisciplinary exchange and the creation of new technologies.
Topics include infection prevention in facilities for older adults, food hygiene, Legionella control in water environments, microbial control using reactive oxygen species, photocatalysis, ultraviolet radiation, prion inactivation, sterilization technologies, and rapid microbiological testing.
General research presentations and the product exhibition are expected to include substantial participation from companies as well as academic institutions. The meeting also provides students and early-career researchers with opportunities to present their work, learn about current industrial technologies, and consider future career paths.
