Meeting Overview
The Annual Meeting of the Japan Society of Exercise and Sports Physiology provides a forum for sharing research on physiological responses and adaptations associated with exercise and sports, covering fundamental research, applied research, clinical practice, and competitive sports. The 34th meeting will be the third meeting held at Osaka University of Health and Sport Sciences, following the 8th and 26th annual meetings.
The program will address a diverse range of research and practical topics in exercise physiology, including lactate metabolism, sports nutrition, heat countermeasures, hypoxic environments, advanced running footwear, and skeletal muscle aging.
The symposia will cover body cooling, altitude training, exercise science involving racehorses, and collaboration between scientific research and competitive sports practice. Researchers and professionals working in practical settings are expected to share knowledge from their respective perspectives.
In the general research sessions, presenters will first deliver short presentations summarizing the key points of their studies and will then move to the poster area for open discussion. This format is intended to support both efficient understanding of the research and direct interaction among participants.
